Sports Massage

Each body holds the key to its own healing. At JX Fundamentals, we provide the treatments necessary to unlock the innate potential each of us holds inside to relax, heal and do more.

Sports massage, also known as athletic massage, is a type of manual manipulation of soft-tissue that is specifically geared toward helping people who have physically demanding lifestyle and/or activities. It considers the impact of certain activities on specific joints, muscle groups, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue groups. These technique include the application of pressure by hands and elbows, active and passive stretching, and movement with or without the use of instrumentation.

Sport massage therapy is specifically designed to support and enhance the performance, recovery, and relaxation of people who are frequently and/or intensely physically active. The common positive outcomes of sports massage include:

  • Increased joint range of motion (ROM)
  • Increased sense of wellbeing
  • Decrease muscle tension
  • Decrease neurological excitability (nerves more relaxed)

Our sports massage therapy helps from high performance athletes to recreational sports players. Sports massage therapy can be used for pre-performance, post-performance, during training and even for rehabilitation.

Movements & Strength Training

We strongly belief active training is the long term solution to body pain and health through mastering the fundamentals in all aspects of life including movements, sleep, diet and mental health. We make sure our clients play an active role in their journey of getting out of pain or getting fit for life.

Movement & strength training focuses on improving functional limitations like the lack of flexibility, strength, motor control skills or recovery that may be causing pain or discomfort in your daily lives or your sports activities.

Our training is designed based on individual needs and limitations identified through a series of assessments.

Movements and strength training is an active process where you learn to take control over your body and build the capacity that meets the demand of your daily live and activities.

Passive treatment can help with immediate pain relief, but the active approach keeps the individual functional in the long term.

Nutrition Coaching

Nutrition Coaching at JX Fundamentals goes beyond telling our clients what to eat and how much to eat. I signed up for the Nutrition Coaching program with David as I was not satisfied with my physical outlook and eating habits.

David helped me to regulate my meal plan so I will not overeat and also gained knowledge on how to have a better quality nutrition wise with normal everyday food without starving and food cravings.
